I'm Still Here

Hey! So, here is a quick blog...I don't have too much time and it's stinkin' hot in my office. We had our ultrasound on 7/8/08. It went really well! The baby was sucking it's thumb most of the time, super cute! We get another ultrasound on 8/12/08 b/c they didn't get a good picture of the spine, everything is ok it was just the way the baby was lying down. We didn't see anything that gave the gender away and no one knows at our doctor's office so there will be no slip up's. If it's a boy the name will be Elijah Reed and if it's a girl her name will be Elyse Dawn. My mom came into town for two weeks and we had an awesome time! I love and miss her tons. Then I just got back last night from spending the weekend with my best friend Aly...I really really miss her a lot too. Needless to say the summer has been pretty busy. In August Greg has a trip for work, we are going to a cabin with some friends, and then leaving to California for a mini-family vacation. I'm looking forward to August b/c I'll have some good time to spend with my hubby. He recently got promoted and while that is a tremendous blessing he has been super busy and stressed. There are some rough or should I say "uncomfortable" things going on in my life right now but I'm trusting God. He has laid the scripture on my heart...."my ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not your thoughts". I'll try to get some pics posted soon but you know...(right Aly, you know? hee hee)

Hey woman! Glad to hear everything is going well with the pregnancy and be-be! =)Can't wait till he/she arrives. I love your name choices too, very cute. What part of Cali are you going to? We just took our first official family vaca there (San-Diego)and loved it!!! So much fun! Congrats on Greg's job promotion; that's awesome. I'll be praying for your fam & all the upcoming changes. Take care.
